There is extreme poverty, filth, masses of people, aweful traffic, trash, masses of shacks connected to make entire cities it seems. But at every turn you see improvements.
Then there is extreme wealth too. New buildings and luxury high rises are coming up all over. It is very expensive here however.
Below is new government buildings in progress. Beautiful and paving the way for a new Angola.
Lots of growth and they are working on building more infrastructure to handle it.
Below is a huge mousoleum of Agostinho Neto. He lead a popular movement for liberation of Angola during war of independence of Portugal. I keep waiting for it to make a noise.
Despite all, I hear there are really nice areas to the south and some nice beeches. Also an area here I will see tomorrow for lunch that has nice resteraunts and clubs.
Other than that it really is work 24/7. 
It looks like the Eye of Sauron should emerge from atop the mausoleum
