Daily life continued

They have ice cream trucks here.  You hear the song they play all around.
Here is one.
Daily bank drop off.  One of my national colleagues does not like standing near the banks when they do drop offs or pick ups.  Safety first.  It's good to see lots of security around.
Good words to live by.

Food

Mukeka- traditional fish stew. Had this at lunch. Lots of different random prices of fish.

You see a lot of cooked bananas and plantains. This women sits outside near our office with her set up each day.

Hitch 5 week 1

Life back in Luanda.
A snack at Aldar cafe with a colleague breaks the day up well.
The ladies provide outside my office so I never go hungry.
Staff house meals are just fine too.
And I make do at the staff house gym.

Next week- Cabinda and ROC-Republic of Congo

Infectious disease 101

We got some new toys for the clinic. Portable Ebola or infectious disease transports.  Training is sure to be fun in them but they are one time use only for obvious reasons.
